Description
BOTH SIDES RECORDED DECEMBER 22, 1911. This was Al Jolson's first record.
17037-A "THAT HAUNTING MELODY" ([George M.] Cohan) - Who wrote "Give My Regards to Broadway," "You're a Grand Old Flag," etc.
17037-B "RUM TUM TIDDLE" (Madden-Schwartz)
Record is in excellent condition with light scuffs on side A, and a couple scuffs, a small scratch and an inverse bump on side B. Both labels have lines in them I can't explain. Plays well, with some hiss, but no ticks, pops or jumps. Sleeve is a Brunswick, so not original, and is in good shape.

SHIPPING DETAILS: If there is shipping involved, all shipping will originate from MD 21762. Any shipping that will be USPS FIRST CLASS, PARCEL, PRORITY, OR MEDIA. I don't charge a handling fee (yet). ALASKA, HAWAII, U.S. PROTECTORATES, OR FORIEGN DESTINATIONS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR FREE SHIPPING (if offered). I cannot ship on Sundays and U.S. national holidays. Disregard shipping details if item is for pick-up only.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING; Shipping does not include any custom or duty fees. Check with your local post office before bidding or buying. Please do not ask me to circumnavigate custom and duty laws. I will work with you to find the least expensive shipping costs. See INVOICING above. RUSSIAN FEDERATION BUYERS: Currently there is a minimum 60-day backlog at customs at the Moscow International Airport, mainly for Russian buyers using foreign websites. To help avoid rejection, shipping name must be First Name + Parent Surname + Surname. UKRAINE BUYERS: USPS has suspended service to Ukraine postal codes 95000 - 99999. PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA BUYERS: I personally have experienced at least a two week delay with SOME buyers receiving items.
PAYMENTS ARE MADE THROUGH EBAY OR PAYPAL. I will not ship until payment is confirmed. Local pick-ups must PAYPAL first.
