Description

This record was found in an estate with many 78 RPM in the Jazz genre, big band, bop, and similar styles.  This is Bluebird B-6733, produced in 1936.  Side B is Shreveport Farewell, and a previous owner inked "NOV, 1936" on the label.  THE SHELLAC IS CLEAN AND LOOKS PLAYABLE.  There are a fair number of very light unfeelable scratches over otherwise clean shellac with visible grooves.  I will visually grade this as VG+, recognizing this is a 90 year-old shellac and I grade these differently than vinyl LPs.  With a similar surface in vinyl (clear grooves seen but a fair number of very light scratches seen), I would be more conservative and grade it G or VG.
