Description

From a collection of 1950s/60s folk music, including records from the Folkways Label.   This one is a little different - its an Italian record by Johnny Dorelli produced by CGD Microsolco MV 0225.  From Wikipedia:  "Born as Giorgio Guidi in Meda, he debuted as singer in the late 1950s for CGD label. In 1958 he won the Sanremo Festival in duo with Domenico Modugno, with the songs "Nel blu dipinto di blu" (also known as "Volare") and "Piove (Ciao ciao bambina)". "L'immensità" earned Dorelli a ninth place at the 1967 edition of the Sanremo Song Festival"  This record includes Nel Blue Dipinto Di Blu, crediting Modugno as one of two song writers.  Glossy flexible jacket is in excellent condition, no marks, splits, light corner wear, light ring on back.  Record stored in plastic inner sleeve.  A half dozen discernible scratches mar an otherwise shiny and deep-grooved surface.  I'll rate VG, although scratches may impede play.  One such scratch begins towards the end of Nel blu dipinto di blu.  A rare LP!
