FOLKWAYS FA-2022 (MONO) - CISCO HOUSTON - *Cowboy Ballads*
A rare and wonderful original 10” LP - from 1952. I know you are familiar
with this guy who traveled and performed with Leadbelly and Woody Guthrie in the old days.
His recordings are all rare, but worth the effort - he, in my opinion, is a largely un-heralded master.
In this MOSES ASCH recording he does: Chisolm Trail, Riding Old Paint, Diamond Joe, Tying a Knot,
On the Devil’s Tail, Stewball, Little Joe the Wrangler, Betsy From Pike and Trouble In Mind.

DISC = VG(+) Lite-to-moderate use ... some minor marks... nothing ‘feelable’.

COVER = VG Some soil/aging and big partial splits top and bottom. Sorry, no descriptive notes.
