Description

Found in an estate with many 78 RPM in the Jazz genre, big band, bop, and similar styles.  This one was found in a 12" binder.  Blue Note 12, with the "YBW" - Yellow Blue White - label, and the 10 W. 47th St. NYC address on the label. Side B is, You Don't Know My Mind.  Discogs does not have a listing for this combination - YBW and the specific address.  There is a discogs listings with the address but the label is white and blue, no yellow.  I am going to guess this is a 1940 "repress" with the YBW label and the 10 W. 47th St Address. The "original" 1940 discogs listing had a YBW label and the 235 - 7th Ave., N.Y.C.  There are a lot of visible deep clean grooves seen but overlain with a good number of visible light scratch or scuff marks, not feelable.  I will visually grade this as in the range of VG to VG+, recognizing this is an 80+ year shellac and I grade these differently than vinyl LPs.  With a similar surface in vinyl (clear grooves seen but overlain with a good deal of light scuffing, etc), I would grade the record somewhere in the range of F to G.
