Description

Half Japanese—Half Japanese ½ Gentlemen, ½ Beasts VG++/M-/M-/M- (Armagedon A Box 1). Wow, this is one of my favorite records; a triple record box set that rivals Sonic Youth’s first LP and YaHoWa 13 in creativity. I'm not a fan of their later LPs; kinda like the Chocolate Watch Band's 3rd (and recent 4th) LP, or the Litter's 2d and 3rd LPs. THe BOX SET comes with all M- inserts, including Pink Panther book with weird half nude mud-up pictures, and lyric sheet (that I couldn't include in scan because it is too detailed). Box is in very good ++ shape; no tears in box corners, but some wear b/c of white spots in black box cover, but no magic marker cover up; the 3 M- LP 45rpm records have been played only 3-4 times by me after recording (you can record Box Set on one 100 minutes cassette; way cool). Matrix numbers on first record read “Lyn 8398-1 TH A Box-1-A” and “Lyn 8399-1 TH A Box-1-B.” I bought this for $62.00 in NYC in 1985 at a record store. Boy was I happy. I've never seen another copy; how about you?

No lurking reserve price; all minimum bids are my original cost basis unless noted (gotta pay taxes, ya know!!). Records, when play graded, are graded using my Ruby 3 Micro Benz cartridge on my Rockport "Sirius" turntable. I have tried to list the history of all records for sale here, based on when and where I bought them, not that it necessarily matters to anyone but me. All records are guaranteed; I'll pay postage both ways if you are not satisfied. Records not paid for within 7 days (absent consensual communication with buyers) will be offered to next highest bidder if I can still bear to sell the relevant record, depending on the success otherwise of my auction. I do not mark up for postage, so any extra cash I charge you for will be deposited with your records. I would charge for record mailers and stuff, but . . .heck, I done got so many already!
