The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks.

VG.
 There are only very light marks to the vinyl...NOTHING TO MAKE HER JUMP OR SKIP.
I have just listened to the whole album...GORGEOUS, DEEP AND RICH SOUND RE-PRODUCTION, for the majority....WHAT AN ALBUM!!
There is only some light and occasional background noise...What I noticed was: Trk 4, side 1 had some light crackle at the start, as well as trk 5, side 1 having about the same. Turning over to side 2, I noticed some light pops at the start of side 2 and some shilling to the middle section of track 4, side 2...Other than the above mentioned, she shone out with clarity and depth.
Superb original sound, lovely and flat and retains it's lovely shine.
Rich bass.
QUALITY HEAVY VINYL.

 All in accordance with the re-released 1st press:
"SOLD IN THE U.K." central text.
"THE GRAMOPHONE CO.." rim text.
 There are some light spindle marks-just visible when angled towards the light. Very, very little central hole wear.
NO WRITING
Lovely yellow PARLOPHONE colour remains.

Proud and raised 'KT' Tax code to side 1 label.

"DR ROBERT" on the side two label.

HOWEVER-These labels are rather rare as this is a CROSSOVER/TRANSITIONAL pressing with these two differeing fonts to each label.
Side 1 hasd the more New Times Roman block-like font-each track starts with the number of the track to the left. With side two having the more Gothic-like font and track listing wrapping (songs and track numbers taking up more than one line and bleeding into the next title track...Please see the detailed images for yourselves.
This is very rare as only a very small amount of these CROSSOVER/TRANSITIONAL pressings were ever made...They were just using up old label stock.
THIS IS THE FIRST one I have come across in 18 years of dealing with The Beatles pressings!!

EXCELLENT STRONG cover, from the good old days.
With the small MONO to the front.
As you may be abe to see in the images provided, there are only a few very small cresents and lines of spidering near the opening (around 3!) and some very small fingers of spidering eminating from the seams, to the front laminate.
To the top right corner of the back there is a very small 2cm piece of the flipback missing-but this doesn't create a problem.
REALLY WELL LOOKED AFTER.

It has the text to the bottom right corner to the back flipback:

 It is the ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" inner, with the tracing paper lining.
With the text:
"MADE IN ENGLAND"
In superb shape, other than one side has a small and fine split of around 8cm...Without this is would easily grade as EX+.
Certainly done her job in keeping this record in lovely condition.


GRAB THIS LITTLE BEAUTY FOR IT'S REALLY RATHER RARE TRANSITIONAL LABELS, IT'S QUALITY WEIGHT AND SOLID SOUND REPRODUCTION-NOT FOGETTING IT IS THE COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL PACKAGE FROM 1966!
