The 13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere UK Original Radarscope LP 1978
On offer is a another gem from the 13th Floor Elevators. like its predecessor it was released through the Radarscope label some 10/11 years after its original USA release. Like the earlier album it is also stunning and unique, many have tried to imitate its qualities but few ever came close.
The vinyl easily grades Excellent+ and has been loved and very well looked after. There are no scratches or unwanted blemishes of any kind.
The beautifully designed but fragile sleeve is still excellent, like the original it has been printed with gold ink and as a result always suffered from handling, there is some light handling marks and edge wear at the bottom and small amount of ringwear near the bottom but this is to be expected. The reverse is still bright and clean with no writing or unwanted marks, a couple of corner dings, there are no creases and the spine is solid and clearly legible, a very decent copy.
The plain paper original inner sleeve is Excellent with no splits.
Both this release and the Psychedelic Sounds of pressings on the Radarscope label are clearly not as desirable as the USA originals, however, the sound quality is better especially on this album and both albums are becoming very collectible.
