Personal note - I would like to thank all of you who have shown an interest in my transcription disc collection over the last few months. Today, I am listing the last few in my collection, and I've saved a few of the best for last! Please check out my other listings - after this, there are no more.
A quantity of 4, 16" transcription discs on the War and Navy Departments Armed Forces Radio Service Christmas Label.
Series H-45 - CHRISTMAS COMMAND PERFORMANCE from 1945
Announcer Ken Carpenter and Bob Hope welcome Bing Crosby, Johnny Mercer, Judy Garland, Jerry Colonna, Dinah Shore, Harry James, Jimmy Durante, Hurbert Marshall, Cass Daily, Frank Sinatra, Mel Blanc (as Private Sad Sack) and others!! NOTE: transcription discs require special equipment to play them - they will NOT play on a standard phonograph!
All 4 records in very good condition - Very clean, grooves show some light wear with few scuffs or scratches. With the right equipment you should be able to enjoy this record with some light surface noise.
Original sleeves in good condition.
