Description
I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 4 records(Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the attractive purple and gold ODEON label. I don't see a Set number on the book/cover/sleeve nor on the paper but it does say General Phonograph Co., made in U.S.A.--10-15-25 (so I assume it is 1925). The front cover of the book is quite impressive and says Odeon Library, Orchestra Works Of The Great Masters. This one is Beethoven: Fourth Symphony in B Flat, Op.60 and is performed by Orchestra of the State Opera House in Berlin directed by Dr. Weissmann. The records proceed from First Movement through Fourth Movement: Finale, concluded on the 8 sides. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs or scratches are very few (if any), light and surface variety. Surfaces still quite shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well and has the original 4 page typed paper booklet with it, and even has a neat little slit area on inside front cover where that booklet slips into. A most impressive Set!!!
