Description

Here is an excellent 1946 Count Basie 'Tenor Sax Album Number Two" record set S-502 on Savoy Records. The artists are Don Byas, Ben Webster, Lester Young and Coleman Hawkins.  The LP jacket has no tears, just a little worn on the edges. There is a little wear on the corners and it has the typical slight discoloring on the rear cover (see the supporting photos). The records look like they were played a couple of times (has typical scuffs from being slipped in and out of the jacket) and then put back into the plastic sleeve and put back on the shelf. The records are the closest thing to buying them new in 1946.

580A&B I surrender dear / Kat's Fur (Ben Webster)

581A&B Back home again in Indiana / Lester's Blues (Lester Young)

582A&B Worried and blue / Riffin and jivin (Don Byas)

583A&B Ridin the riff / Flat rock (Coleman Hawkins)

I inherited my familys record, book and antique collections and will be listing items every week. Please take a look at the other items that I have listed. I will offer a discount on the shipping if you purchase multiple items that I can ship in one box. Thank you and have a pleasant day!
