Description
This is a well-regarded collection of Edith Piaf songs. The set came from Chaffey College. RPM is not labelled, but I presume a 10" 1949 release would be 78 RPM. Based on information on the back cover, these records use the laminated process for inner core strength and good sound quality.
The albums could use cleaning. (I lack record cleaning equipment.) I do not see anything but very light scuffing if that, so I would rate them to be in great shape, especially for their age. The records appear shiny. This evaluation is visual only, as my CD player will not play records! But from a visual perspective, these records should play very well.
The set includes 8 songs, one per side -- Les Amants de Paris, Monsieur Lenoble, Il Pleut, Un Refrain Courait dans la Rue, La Vie en Rose, C'est Merveilleux, Le Chant du Pirate, and Adieu mon Coeur.
