Description
1951 45 Box set by Billie Holiday Titled Lover Man.Box has the number 9-250 on spine.All 45s are present although 1 may have been added in later.It has the correct 9-24796 label number as box shows inside cover but doesn't have Album Number 9-250 that the other 3 45s have on the labels.This 45 will be the 4th and last 45 described.I have taken several pictures so you can get a better idea of condition.The box looks nice and is in pretty decent shape.None of the corners have any splitting at all.The corners have wear.The box also has wear on top and edges and also has a very small tear spot on spine Please see picture.Bottom of edges has some wear.Spine not split at all.Top of box is a little pushed in and has 2 creases on the lower left corner.Inside of box in very nice condition.The 4 records all come in 4 early 1950s Decca label sleeves.All 4 are exactly the same except 2 are a little lighter in color.First 45 is on Decca label # 9-24638.Has the 9-250 on both labels.Porgy side of record has some very light to light scratches with 3 scratches feelable with fingernail.Has some light scuffing and some groove wear but still has good shine.The other side has the song My Man.This side has some light scratches with 3 scratches feelable with fingernail.2nd 45 is on Decca label # 9-23853.Has the 9-250 on labels.Solitude side of record has light scratches with 4 small scratches feelable with fingernail.some scuffing and some groove wear.The There Is No Greater Love side of record has some very light to light scratches with 3 small scratches feelable with fingernail.This side has nice groove shine.3rd 45 is in Decca label # 9-23391.Has the 9-250 number on labels.That Old Devil Called Love side of record has multiple light scratches with 5 scratches feelable with fingernail.Has some scuffing.Lover Man side of record has multiple light scratches with 6 scratches feelable with fingernail.Has some scuffing and groove wear and also a large tear on this sides label Please see picture.The 4th 45 does not have the 9-250 number on label but does have the same identical 9-24796 number on label this set is supposed to have.The Crazy He Calls Me side has multiple vey light to light scratches with 7 scratches feelable with fingernail.Some groove wear but still has good shine.The You're My Thrill side has multiple very light to light scratches with 7 scratches feelable with fingernail.Also has some scuffing and groove wear.Please read description carefully before bidding.If buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.
