Description
This 78rpm set was an early custom job recorded at Sam Phillip's SUN Studio in Memphis, late 1951. Contracted by the Davidson Clay Co. There was a bit of a Casey Jones craze starting in 1950 with a Disney cartoon. This narration was by Sim T. Webb, an African American who was Casey Jone's last fireman aboard the train that took Jone's life. Red label is first pressing, some came out on yellow (the well known yellow and brown Sun used from then on) the next year.
VERY RARE document of Sun Studios, FIRST PRESSING! There has only been ONE copy of this on 7" ever offered before, back in 2016 and no other mentions of this pressing.
