This is an original Wilcox Gay Recordio Disc radio broadcast recording of Kentucky Waltz by Bill Monroe made December 1, 1952.  I don't have the equipment to listen to these recordings but I believe these are home recordings of radio broadcasts.  This disc measure about 5.75" in diameter and has the original Recordio Disc paper label on which the original owner wrote information about the broadcast including the name Bill Monroe, the date of the recording and the song title.  

These records are part of a large collection of home audio recordings that were made on Recordio Discs, RecorDiscs and other similar formats in the early 1950s in Eastern Missouri.  The following information is written on the paper label by the person that made the recording:      

• Dec. 1, 1952 (Radio) Bill Monroe "Kentucky Waltz"   
• Nov. 30, '52 - It wasn't God who made Honky Tonk Angels ????
