Description

1952 Gioconda de Vito with the LSO under Sargent in the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto. Gatefold UK HMV BLP 1008 1st Pressing with the cloth spine, gold & red gatefold sleeve and deep groove labels. This record is Excellent in a mint minus sleeve. There is a very nice bonus of a cutting and photo of de Vito from the time of the record issue pasted in the gatefold, which details the history of her violin and describes a televised concert from the time of issue. 

Big week in my list for Violin recitals. Look at others in a strong Audiophile and most collectible soloists list, a great week for early music Lp's and early stereo from the Uk from me.
