Description
This is from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
First type pressing of Furtwangler & the Bayreuth Festival in the Beethoven 9th Symphony in its 2LP UK ALP 1286/1287 first issue. Curved cut flip back fully laminated sleeves and gold lettering to the labels. Three near mint sides and a one inch long stylus mark to the 1st which will click but not jump. the original record shop has added a sticker to the side 2 label, and there is some wear to the flips on the 1st sleeve. Sleeve 2 is excellent. Photos should show this. One of the greatest symphony albums ever made.
