Probably one of a kind in this type recording.
And, these 63 year old records are in remarkably
good condition as similiar ones have often
broken down and become unplayable by now.
THESE DISCS ARE STILL SHINY BRIGHT & SOLID
THE AUDIO IS EXCELLENT!
INCLUDED IS A FIVE PAGE TRANSCRIPT OF ARTICLES ABOUT
THE CLOSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JOHN PHILLIP SOUSA
AND THE "RACINE BOYS" WHICH LASTED FROM WORLD WAR I
UNTIL HIS DEATH IN 1932. THIS RECORDING WAS LIVE AND CONTAINS
CROWD NOISE AND CHEERING. PERHAPS, THERE'S A BIT OF THE LEADERS'
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE BAND (not exactly sure if that is what I'm hearing...)
