Near mint! This is quite rare—you are not likely to find another. These were created by Decca during a very narrow window in 1957 introducing Bobby Helms as the “New Singing Sensation” and sent to radio station DJ’s across the country to promote their new star. For a short period after “My Special Angel” was released, copies would have been housed in this sleeve. Given the fact that this was made of very thin paper stock it’s a wonder it has survived at all – – let alone in this condition with no seam splits and completely intact! The 1957 special edition pink promo 45 is pretty much mint and appears unplayed!
It will be a while before you come across this set in this condition again. A real investment in early rockabilly history!
