Description

This is a very nice LP release titled "1957 Country & Western Classics" by Economic Consultants Inc. This is a compilation LP that was available through a 1973 mail-in offer, and contains 4 songs by Elvis, 2 by Johnny Cash, 2 by Jerry Lee Lewis and songs by other artists. All songs are from original master tracks. The vinyl has it's original high gloss, no visible surface marks. The record has clean playback with nice sound and vocals, no detectable background noise during play. Labels look great, no surface wear at all. The cover is excellent, nice edges (no seam splits), a little corner wear, hardly any surface wear. LP has been in a protective plastic cover since purchase. Both vinyl and cover get a NM rating. Tracks are: Side 1: 1) Great Balls Of Fire (Jerry Lee Lewis), 2) Walls (Jim Reeves), 3) Bye Bye Love (Everly Brothers, 4) Give My Love To Rose (Johnny Cash), 5) Teddy Bear (Elvis), 6) Too Much (Elvis), 7) A White Sport Coat (Marty Robbins), and 8) Home Of The Blues (Johnny Cash). Side 2: 1) Geisha Girl (Hank Lochlin), 2) My Shoes Keep Walkin' Back To You (Ray Price), 3) Knee Deep In The Blues (Marty Robbins), 4) Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On (Jerry Lee Lewis), 5) Walking After Midnight (Patsy Cline), 6) Jailhouse Rock (Elvis), 7) All Shook Up (Elvis), and  8) The Story Of My Life (Marty Robbins).  A nice LP for your Elvis or Country music collection!
