Description
This 1957 Prestige 7042 record is a first pressing with deadwax markings PRLP 7042-A 7E RVG
The shiny black Record is VG+ with hairlines, a few scuffs, like new yellow and black labels, and no feelable scratches. Record was play tested, and on side A and there was one static like sound in the deadwax between tracks 3 & 4 and one very slight static like sound in track 4. On side B, there were no audio flaws- an excellent record for 1957.
The jacket is a strong VG with an excellent VG+ front cover, and two small corner bumps. The back cover has some missing paper at the opening, but it is barely visible(see picture). There is a 1 1/2 inch groove near the spine on the back cover that is easily seen in the photo. The back cover is excellent otherwise, and all three edges are excellent as well.
The record was cleaned and rinsed on a Nitty Gritty vacuum machine and ready to play.
If media mail or retail ground is chosen for shipping, it may take three weeks to arrive and possibly more due to the current post office procedures and the pandemic.
