Description
Super rare Carl Perkins Sun LP. The dance album of Carl Perkins. SLP-1225. Released 1957, this is one of the rarest and hardest to find rockabilly LPs to find. Almost as tough as the Johnny Burnette lp on Coral? HTF. Lets get to the CONDITION. I would grade the cover G+ to VG- Coservatively. Top seam is completely split. There is a 2" spine split rom the top, and there is a 2" split at bottom opening. There is light to moderate dinginess on cover with light to moderate wear (NO RINGWEAR). Bent bottom left corner.Tape residue at top seam and some small ink scribble on back. Sounds worse than it looks, but I want to make sure to be as accurate as possible.Still displays very nicely. I have it in a Mylar sleeve and it looks great! Respectable conditon. The Record on the other hand is very nice. STRONG VG to VG+. Vinyl Has a few marks that bring it down to this grade. If not for those marks, I would have graded this an easy VG+. Just some very light hairline scratching . NO DEEP SCRATHES! nothing you can feel. Plays Strong and clean. Vinyl is bright and shiny. Both labels are VERY clean with light soiling, some spindle trails and about a millimeter wide, half inch long scratch of paper loss on one side. and a couple a flecks. All writing clear and legible.VERY respectable ABOVE average record. SATISFACTION GAURANTEED. Coservative grading, so bid with confidence.
