Description

Read and sung by Cyril Ritchard. . . Original score by Alec Wilder, played by the New York Woodwind Quintet. . . Riverside Records SDP 22 (U.S. pressing, 1957 mono). Box is very clean Ex with rubbed spots at the outside corner of the outer box. A bit of corner wear back side (inner) of the box (see 7th photo). The inside of the top box is printed with credits and liner notes. At the time of manufacture, the printing was somewhat over-struck. None of the print is over-struck to the point of illegibility (see 2nd photo). Seven of the eight vinyl sides are near mint, and appear as unplayed. Side 8 has one blemish (otherwise NM) that has zero effect on playability.  No spindle marks. Plain white generic inner sleeves. The facsimile first edition book is near mint, and appears untouched. Overall a beautiful, vintage item in rare condition.
