Up for auction is the rare Reel-To-Reel 1958 "The Herd Rides Again" by Woody Herman on Everest Records #STBR 1009. This is a 4 Track 7 1/2 IPS Reel in gorgeous, UNUSED condition. There is a little bit of soiling and light wear on the box but the tape has never been played. I will be listing a few Jazz and some classical reels in the same unused condition so please see my other listings and keep watch. "Do not miss out! Low starting bid and no reserve.
Woodrow Charles Herman (May 16, 1913 – October 29, 1987) was an American jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, singer, and big band leader. Leading various groups called "The Herd", Herman came to prominence in the late 1930s and was active until his death in 1987. His bands often played music that was cutting edge and experimental for its time; they received numerous Grammy nominations and awards.
