For your consideration with NO RESERVE, comes this RARE 1959 R&B/SOUL 33 1/3 rpm record LP by the "Godfather of Soul", JAMES BROWN. Titled, "Try Me" and recorded on the FLAT BLACK CROWNLESS KING IN LARGE LETTERS Records label, #635, MONO. Album cover has the elusive "Smoking Gun" artwork, spine seam is solid, top and bottom seams have cleanly split the entire horizontal dimension of the LP cover, which could be tediously repaired and warrants repair due to the rarity of the album. Shows minor soiling, overall grades VG. I WAS QUITE PLEASED WITH THE AUDIO FIDELITY, PLAYS WITH LIGHT TO MINOR BACKGROUND NOISE AND AN OCCASIONAL POP.
