One of a handful of cello rarities we have just had in, see our me page for more.

1960 Deep Grooved 1st Uk decca press Telefunken GMA 31 of the Tatrai Quartet in the Beethoven 8th Quartet. Sleeve suggests as I have always thought that despite the year, no stereo exists of these, as mono and stereo issues of the catalogue are listed to rear (GMA & SMA of same titles), and another of this series is there with just a GMA prefix as here. I always pick these up for myself as I see them over the years, and took a gamble on this only to find it is one I already have, both being equally near mint. Great sound and even better performances, these are a delight.

Near mint record with a near mint sleeve. Plays fully near mint, heard throughout in places to check.

When we post this to you, it will be housed in a hard card custom made new box.
