Description

Please note this is one of a number of vintage 1950s/1960s classical records that we are listing from a house clearance.  They will all play without skipping but have background crackle and light ticks/clicks so would benefit from a professional clean.
1960 Decca SXL 2197 - Carmen Fantaisie Ruggiero Rici - Matrix ZAL 4719-2E / ZAL 4720-2E.
There are lots of hairlines and scuffs with a visual inspection at an angle in daylight (there may be more hairlines if inspected under UV lighting).  It plays all the way through without skipping but with background crackle and 8 continuous clicks 3/4 through the 1st band plus 4 continuous clicks at the start at the 2nd band plus 12 continuous clicks half way through the 2nd band on side 1.  Side 2 has some softer clicks and ticks.   Please use zoom on photos.
