Description

Rare Original 1960 ROCKABILLY Classic 7" Promotional Copy with Hard Cardboard PIC Sleeve 45rpm on CAPITOL Records ( # F4237 ) by GENE VINCENT and His Blue Caps ( born Vincent Eugene Craddock on 2/11/35 in Norfolk, Virginia - died of ulcer hemorrhage on 10/12/71 ) .  Record is in VG++/NM condition ( rec / slv ) - comes in a custom created cardboard picture cover that does NOT resemble the original ultra-rare picture sleeve at all, but does look very cool (see scan) - record plays real clean, both sides - The 45 has what appears to be a "Library filing sequence" #7697 stamped on both sides.

ONR OF GENE'S BEST ROCKERS, AND THIS IS A SUPER CLEAN, SCARCE COPY!!
( even with the mock sleeve, this is a jewel!!! )

Side One:    "RIGHT NOW" - uncharted super ROCKER... Great guitar and vocals! A HIT IN MY BOOK!

Side Two:    "THE NIGHT IS SO LONELY"  - Excellent Rockabilly ballad for him... Originally pushed as the a-side for some reason

International (non-U.S.) customers must pay $15.00 for Registered / Airmail Letter post only
