THE SACRED MUSHROOM
DRUGGED-OUT HIPPY COMMUNE ROCK!
Here's an original Psychadelic, 1969 Psychedelic Hippy/Punk record. This is an awesome and beautiful collectible record. The fuzzed-out guitars and snarling vocals will remind you a little of Jimi Hendrix and The Grateful dead. A lot of the songs have drug and sexual suggestions. "CATATONIC LOVER" is a sexual reference no doubt. "I'M NOT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE" is a great Kinks cover. This record really is a Psychedelic rocker! This era of rock and roll music is probably the most desired by listeners and collectors. It was truly a revolutionary time. You'll love the music and the value will only rise in the years to come. The record itself is on the PARALLAX label and plays well. It does have surface scratches, but only has one skip on my stereo. It's a great player and the cover looks very nice. The cover is in very good shape and features a great photo of the huge hippy band in front of thier commune. The seams and spine are all strong and together It has no tape. It's beginning to split near the right corner, but it's fine. It's totally nice enough for display perposes also.
