Description
Up for grabs is an original 1961 Capitol Records pressing of Nat King Cole's "The Nat King Cole Story" - catalog # WCL1613. This LP is an early 1st edition MONO pressing and shows to be in VG+/NM- condition.
This box set also still has the original "hype" paper inset still attached to the cover.
All of the LPs in the set also are medium to heavy weighted vinyl issues - which is another indication of an original pressing.

- this vinyl does show a few visible, very light needle and/or sleeve scuffs. but sound quality should not be diminished.
COVER: VG/VG+
- Front cover still retains its original matte texture and has no ring wear noticeable
- Thick card stock box set with original paper "hype" inset attached to the front cover
- Very minimal edge wear is noticeable on top and bottom edges
- Spine is still straight, and shows very little shelf/handling wear
- Corners are still square, but rounding and bends are present
- Back cover still retains nice color, and doesn't have any noticeable ring wear
- PAPER "HYPE" - still attached, but worn and shows heavy creasing, tears, and chipping
SLEEVE: If present, is used only for transport and will not be graded or visually described, unless entire edition (album vinyl, cover, and sleeve) is VG+ or better.

- Two have seam splits at the bottom edge
BOOKLET:
- condition = NM/NM-
- White pages throughout, no bends or creases, very clean and sharp
Overall, this copy is a 45+ year old LP and is in a nice condition and is suitable for any collection.This LP has not been played, but should not have any sound quality diminished.

I will combine shipping if winning multiple lots or auctions. Please refer to non-album/LP auctions for combine shipping charges for those other auctions, because they will differ.
All LP grades assigned are subjective and may differ from another person's viewpoint. I am not a professional grader, but I have collected records and albums for over 35 years. When LPs or records are play tested, they are disc-brush cleaned and then played on a 1980s Pioneer direct-drive turntable using Stanton or AudioTechnica needles.
Combined Shipping costs for LP auctions:- Will be recalculated to include a new shipping charge. Additional costs will be applied after the shipping cost of the heaviest weighted auction that was won (i.e. a 2-LP record lot is heavier than a single LP lot.)- I will combine auction shipment costs for up to four (4) LPs (4 single LPs, 2 double LPs, or a combination of both types, not to exceed four LPs in the album mailer). I do this, so they will ship securely in a record mailer and without possible damage during shipment. An additional amount of $.50 per LP will be added after the initial charge. - I use a prefabricated 12" record mailer for all LP shipments and will only add insurance upon request.
