Description
I AM GUESSING THESE WERE SOME SORT OF DEALER PROMO. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE LIKE IT. IT IS A SINGLE-SIDED 7" VINYL RECORD THAT PLAYS AT 33 1/3 RPM. ZORA ARKUS-DUNTOV (AKA FATHER OF THE CORVETTE) TALKS ABOUT THE VETTE, AS WELL AS SOMEONE ELSE FROM GM. ALSO HAS SOUNDS OF THE VETTE GOING THRU ITS PACES. TOTAL PLAY TIME IS 4-5 MINUTES. THE VINYL IS A BIT SCRATCHY BUT PLAYED ALL THE WAY THROUGH. THE COVER IS WATER STAINED ON THE BACK, BUT SHOWS PRETTY WELL FROM THE FRONT.
WELCOME TO GATEWAY WAX!
VINYL GRADING:
ALL RECORDS SOLD FOR LESS THAN $2.00 ARE SOLD STRICTLY AS-IS.
Vinyl is visually graded, & I use a modified Goldmine standard; mine goes: MINT, NM, VG++, VG+, VG, G, F, P. Grade is listed above, at the end of the ad title. I rarely list items below VG, & any grade below VG is strictly a guess & should be treated as such. My grade refers to the VINYL GROOVES ONLY. Covers, sleeves, writing, inserts, labels, etc., are not graded or usually disclosed. Also, many 45's, especially those from the 50's & 60's, need to be cleaned before sounding their best. If you have any questions over these ungraded areas of my items, or want to know mixes, etc., whatever; please ask the question BEFORE BUYING OR MAKING AN OFFER. Once you hit that button, it is too late!
DOMESTIC SHIPPING & HANDLING:
$3.50 for 1-2, $.50 per additional thereafter. All 45's are mailed in cardboard mailers with additional packaging. Insurance against loss or damage is at the option of the buyer, and runs $2.00 per $50 of value. I do not accept responsibility for the item once it leaves my hands; if you choose to pass up the insurance, YOU accept responsibility for the liability. Sales of more than 20 items will be priced by weight.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & HANDLING:
$7.00 for the first, $.75 per additional, via USPS First Class international or Priority International, depending on weight. All vinyl is mailed in cardboard mailers specifically made for vinyl media. Sales of more than 20 items will be priced by weight.
CANADA ONLY:
Same as above, but $5.00 for the first, $.50 per additional. If these shipping prices do not come up automatically, please wait for an invoice!
PAYMENT:
I expect payment in my hands within 2 weeks of sale date, otherwise it goes to Ebay's dispute system. All non-paying buyers will be permanently barred from all of my Ebay enterprises.
RETURN POLICY:
BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL RETURN SHIPPING COSTS!!!
The only reason I will take a return is if the item is not as I described it. All returns must be pre-approved BEFORE sending, otherwise no refund will be given. I double-check every record before it leaves, so I catch most defective items before they reach my customers. Please note, the only thing I describe is the visual appearance of the vinyl grooves: I do not disclose cover condition, writing on labels, writing on covers, etc. I expect the buyer to either ask all pertinent questions before making a purchase, or to abide by the consequences of not asking. That said, here is what I what I expect from a returned item:
1. I expect the item in my hands within 30 days of the day I shipped it.2. I expect the original packaging.
3. Please write down the Ebay item#, Paypal transaction#, or enclose a printout of the transaction. I do a large volume of transactions every month, & it is very difficult to track down this info.
HANDLING TIME:
I normally ship 2-3 times per week. Therefore, on the average, an item leaves 2-3 days after payment is received. I set the handling time really high in eBay's system as an absolute maximum, but 2-3 days or so is a more realistic estimate. Also, I mark all items "shipped" in eBay's system, so you can check your item details to see what day it actually left.
AS-IS ITEMS:
All items marked "as-is" in the title (pretty obvious, when you get right down to it)
All items graded VG- & below (this won't come up very often)
All items that sell for less than US$2.00 (I still give these items the same attention, but it is simply not worth the trouble to offer a guarantee for such low-cost merchandise).
DEFINITION OF AS-IS: (from Wiktionary):
"Used for an object offered for sale to indicate that no warranty, guarantee, or certification of the object is being provided, often implying that the object is in less than optimal condition".
