Description
This is from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1961 First year pressing of Uk HMV ASD 462 Tchaikovsky 6th symphony from the VPO under Kubelik. 1st White Gold Labels and 1st type biggest bold stereo letters corner. Pristine whiteness to the rear as shown, no spindle marks and playing surfaces Near Mint with none but superficial non sounding faint marks. Gives the Mravinsky a bit of competition, this one being in far better big audiophile stereo sound.
This record is visually Near Mint, in a Near Mint sleeve, record is not warped, labels are clean.
Good selection of rarities in my list this week..
