The original celebrated 1962 album by jazz pianist Bill Evans and jazz guitarist Jim Hall, with the famous black and white front cover, without lettering, of photograph "Weeki Wachee Spring, Florida", by Toni Frissell. Critically acclaimed, the collaboration between Evans and Hall resulted in some of the most pleasurable, "beautiful, [and] thoroughly ingratiating music".
This heavy vinyl first press, is a hard to find original 1962 release - UAJ 14003, gatefold, with the spine listing both the stereo and mono versions and the inner left panel differentiating mono as does label and matrix; the [ear] in the runout looks like an "Ear" or uppercase cursive "P"; Matrix / Runout (Side A runout): UAJ-14003A-1A [ear]; Matrix / Runout (Side B runout): UAJ-14003B-1A[ear].
