Description
Early Stereo Week here at 33anda3rd!. Lots of 60's stereo in this list accompanying this lp, plus unusual repertoire and limited pressings.
Uk Columbia 1962 Turquoise and silver stereophonic webbed labels in a flipback sleeve SAX 2424 of Giulini with the Philharmonia in the Schubert Unfinished Symphony & Brahms: Haydn variations. Beautiful condition to this, no marks of any nature, pristine whiteness to the rear, no bends, no warps to the disc, no marks to the labels, investment quality 1st pressing. More importantly, a very beautiful, powerful reading of the unfinished. In the 1990's I had on older neighbour who sang in the Philharmonia Choir, and she was of the opinion that Giulini was the most naturally gifted of all the conductors she saw in her 30 years of singing, throughout all the lp era up to the late 70's.
This record is Near Mint, in a Near Mint sleeve, record is not warped, labels are clean.
Many early stereo rarities in my list this week..
