Description

One of a nice collection of Classical rarities we have just had in, a single cherished and many barely played lps. 
 First anywhere 1963 BEECHAM The Inimitable 1st Press White Gold labels UK HMV ASD 518. Pristine Near Mint all round. Lovely example of the first labels issue, with nice whiteness to the flipback rear. Near mint vinyl in a near mint sleeve and with the first type company poly lined inner. Plays near Mint, with a glorious full valve stereo soundstage. The Sibelius Tapiola is probably the greatest account I have heard and is accompanied by more Orchestral Tone Poems that Beecham loved and knew like the back of his hand on this (Delius, Dvorak, Grieg & Faure). This is also very interesting for having stereo masters on it from 1955, 56 and 1959.
