I am listing a selection of exceptional Original audiophile pressings over the next few weeks; many sealed new old stock or best pressings from a back room stock bought long ago, also slowly being added in my ebay store. There's hundreds in there now! First anywhere country of origin issue of the Beethoven complete sonatas for piano and cello from Richter and Rostropovich. To my ears the greatest of all accounts of these. Label Philips: Catalogue- 835 182/83 AY with the SAL UK number also on the labels. A beautifully preserved set of early stereo records in an intact box. An original 1st Stereo pressing, with dark maroon labels curved Hi-Fi stereo text. This is also on the box lid front corner. The box is solid VG++, some light rubbing to the edges, light rubs to rear only solid inside and out without splitting, minor storage wear, booklet is in NM condition. This plays as good as any early 60s philips lp I have heard, with minimal pops that you have to expect occasionally with lps of this age, but like i say, Near mint on the whole, in lovely valve warmth especially benefitting the Cello tone. This set will only increase in value, an investment quality definitive account 60 year old box set.

If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
