These are 9" records with a 2" center hole, made for the Seeburg Encore Phonograph and Seeburg 1000 Background Music System.  They play at 16 rpm.  Each record side contains approximately 32 minutes of music.   The records are mono and have an extended frequency range and a slightly wider groove cut compared to the other 16 rpm Seeburg libraries; hence the shorter playing time.  The sound quality of these records compares very favorably to standard mono LPs of the day despite the 16 rpm speed.  The music is a bit jazzier than the other libraries, and the song selections (all instrumentals) contain a great many Sinatra songs, movie themes, and jazzy instrumental solos.  These records were marketed as "foreground music" in their day and were meant to be listened to, rather than being sonic wallpaper.

All records have been play-graded.  All are in VG condition and all come in original glassine sleeves.  Records are sold AS IS and returns will not be accepted.  No reserve.
