Jazz Records A - Z, 1897-1931

INDEX

Compiled by Richard Grandorge

Middlesex, England: Published by Brian Rust, February 1963; with 62 pages + original printed paper covers. Published with cover title. Pages 59-62 cover a few additions & corrections to the original voluminous discography.

Finished size is 5 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches; for perusal, opens up to 11 1/2 inches by 8 3/4 inches.

NOTE: This is just the INDEX to performers for the Brian Rust DISCOGRAPHY OF JAZZ RECORDS 1897-1931 (2nd edition 1962 with 736 pages) - and NOT the Discography itself.

As of 27 April 2020 I couldn't find any other offering for this index on ebay.

This book has been in my personal collection since 1963 when I bought it new from Brian Rust himself.

(Starting 18 March 2020 - though I'm social distancing myself and have absolutely no symptoms - I will rub [until dry] a fresh dollop of rubbing alcohol into my hands immediately before picking your items from my shelves and packing them - and again when I mail them).

Covers are a tad tired with a noticeable dog-ear at the lower fore-edge; interior is clean and VERY GOOD PLUS.

WE REGRET WE DON'T SHIP OUT OF USA; SORRY, BUT NO EXCEPTIONS.

FREE shipping via well packaged (plastic sleeve, corrugated board & bubblewrap protected) MEDIA MAIL parcel. Sent with postal service tracking number.

I ship twice a week so turnover time or handling time is 3 business days (Mon-Fri) max - often less than that.

PAYPAL IS THE MUCH PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT.  Thanks!

Please pay within 4 days. Delayed? Then email me - I'll try to work with you when necessary but it helps a lot when I have contact with you. If your payment is delayed, ebay is liable to send a dun or two. PLEASE NOTE THAT THOSE ARE COMING AUTOMATICALLY FROM EBAY AND NOT FROM ME. I typically send out just one reminder.

PLACING A BID IS THE ETHICAL EQUIVALENT OF ACCEPTING THESE TERMS. PLEASE DON'T ASK TO ALTER THEM AFTERWARDS. In return, as our feedback clearly shows, we'll get your item(s) to you, as described, in a safe, timely manner. Thanks!
