DETAILS;

I purchased this album this week with 10-20 other "German" albums and UK albums (will post soon) from an older estate in Lafayette, Indiana. Had it verified at two local record/vinyl stores as authentic, original pressing.

Album cover front: VeeJay logo in upper left corner, high quality printing and photography, George's shadow clearly visible. Glossy, has shelf wear and corner ding (see scan). Slight split at upper right corner, approximately 1/2 inch long (may be repaired). Thicker style cardboard, solid and firm. Spine reads "VEE JAY INTRODUCING THE BEATLES VEE JAY LP1062 (see scan). Album cover back: Vee Jay Records bracket logo at top, contents style listings with "PLEASE, PLEASE ME and "ASK ME WHY." Clean back, glossy with VJLP 1062 upper right corner. Pasteover cover with 1/4 inch flap inside cover. Genuine/authentic.

Album sleeve: Thicker style paper, no center window/hole. Minor flaking at insertion point. Old. Solid and firm.

Disc/vinyl record: Vee Jay logo at top, colorband with gradual color change label. Labeled VJLP1062, 63-3402 LONGPLAYING, SIDE 1 MICROGROOVE. "INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, THE BEATLES" centered over hold. Clear silver print for song list, aligned left. Mechanical stampings side 1: 1-23-64 (7:00 position), H (???) at 6:30 position, 63-3402 at 12:00, S (???) at 11:00, UR or J (???) at 9:00. Mechanical stampings side 2: 63-3403-1 and 2-6-64 at 6:00 position, URT or J at 3:00, H (???) at 12:00. Label is near mint or better, nice coloring. Disc itself is thick and in EX+ condition. Needs to be cleaned. I will not alter the record and let the collector receive it in "as is" condition. Glossy.

***Authentic and rare version. NOT A COUNTERFEIT or REISSUE record!!!
