Among the various powers the Beatles wielded in the 1960's was the ability to time travel, who knew? The Beatles offered us the sounds of the future, 1965 music in 1964! This is nearly complete global dominance, Alexander would be jealous. the first three tracks, "No Reply", "I'm A Loser" & "Baby's In Black" are as great as any Beatles tunes of the era....The B-Side , features "She's A Woman", one of Paul's most intense rockers, "I Feel Fine" and also some terrific guitar solos by George on "Honey Don't."

Beatles '65 includes most of the songs from Beatles for Sale, but deleting "Eight Days a Week", "Words of Love", "Every Little Thing", "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party", "What You're Doing", and the "Kansas City/Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey" medley, which would show up later in Beatles VI.  This American version however added: "I'll Be Back" from A Hard Day's Night and included "I Feel Fine" & "She's a Woman" which would not be issued in England for some time. One of the reasons to have the original mono release is that on the stereo issue 'I Feel Fine' and 'She's A Wonan' were remixed into "duophonic" [fake] stereo and drenched in echo by Capitol Records' executive Dave Dexter, Jr. to cover up the mono mixes sent from England. "I Feel Fine" was the BIG hit (going to number 1) at the time and the inclusion on this American release was a big deal at the time, much to the regret of British fans...
