Very honest seller as well.
This listing is for a very scorching killer early Ska 45 classic 'Little Flea' by The Maytals on the Blue Beat label. First Pressing B245
I gotta say, this one hurts to list. It's a real gem of a ska tune, blistering vocals and scorching beat from Toots and the boys, way before they became Toots & The Maytals. Proper Ska at it's very best and the B side is even better, miscredited as Don't Talk but it's Pain In My Belly. Fantastic harmonies going on.
Check out the youtube link to hear both sides
A side - V Maytals - Little Slea (Little Flea) B side - V Maytals - Don't Talk (Pain In My Belly)
Barcode and Other Identifiers Matrix / Runout (Label side A): 45\BB 3579-A Matrix / Runout (Label side B): 45\BB 3580-B Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, etched): BB 3579 Matrix / Runout (Runout side B, etched): BB 3580
The record is graded as near mint. A stunning copy and extremely rare in this condition. The label is excellent
A beautiful copy and one that i won't give away. This is my kind of reggae and ska but it was bought to move on. The start price reflects its true value as it is an absolute belter of a tune and in stunning condition. I'd rather keep it for less and it's certainly worth more.
A much sought after record!
The B side is killer as well so i've added a link for that too.
Plays beautifully
Much of this old reggae/rocksteady was played to death at parties when it came out and copies were often ruined. This one hasn't seen too much action.
Both sides play really well. The youtube clip doesn't do it justice. Nor does my set up, although it does me fine.
Please check out the play in the clips/links provided so you can judge for yourselves. The sound quality isn't great but at least it gives you an idea. My speakers aren't too bad but they're pretty old.
An extremely rare and collectable record.
The record will be packed safely & securely and sent by trackable mail.
No reserve on this item but i'm starting the bidding at £50 as i love this tune and would rather keep it and play out with it then sell it for less.
Please bid with absolute confidence, there's 100% money back guarantee on this item.
Feel free to email me any questions you may have.
Lots of early Reggae and Northern Soul to list so check out my listings over the next few weeks.
Combined postage of course.
