This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1965 First year pressing of Uk HMV ALP 2047/8. Mahler 9th Symphony from Barbirolli & the BPO. 1st Labels 2LP set with flipback sleeves and half moon nipper labels. The greatest performance of this sublime work?. We get hundreds of pounds for the stereo of this. A low priced way of hearing a valve tube era pressing, the difference between the two is not night and day, as the EMI monos are more pleasant sounding than the Deccas of the same era.
This record is visually Near Mint, in Near Mint sleeves, records not warped, labels are clean.
