CLEAN minty original first pressing of GREAT underrated 1966 album not only featuring the timeless BUS STOP smash hit but two full sides of similar gems from the Hollies at the peak of their career!
The glorious MONO edition reveals not only different song mixes from the stereo release, but, in fact a bold dynamic (mono) production that suits the sounds of the sixties so well, as the band intended the playback to sound!
The title track is a show-stopping, mid-sixties classic. Of all of the songs to come out of England's British Invasion, this one rates up there. The album is strong throughout and is not without it's charm. This album finds the Hollies peaking in their element. Before, Graham Nash became the famous "voice of the generation". And here, the Hollies had the sound down. Perfect melodies, simple ideas, and never too boring. Like the Zombies, the Hollies always manage to keep it fun and engaging with melodic catchy nuggets. The perfect example of this balance is the underrated gems "Baby That's All" and "We're Through" and surprisingly raw raver "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" which can be found on the first Small Faces Lp.

CONDITION: The cover is clean and solid "EX" (Excellent) to M- (top level) making it a nice 43 year old keeper collectible.
The vinyl is all glossy clean VG++ with a couple of very minor superficial scuff lines (harmless) playing very enjoyable from start to end....
