Description

*** ATTENTION!

Please carefully read our entire listing to answer any questions you may have,  including discount shipping rates at end of listing; then contact us directly with any other information you may need.

WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS:  If you have a question on orders received, please contact us.  We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied.   When leaving Feedback, please consider the following:  eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5  reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities.   SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music!  We have served thousands of satisfied customers  - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.

We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records.   Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of  2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.

We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS:  We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping.  Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.

As always, thank you for your support!

Rare original 1966 (((M-))) VINYL first pressing in speaker to speaker STEREO... One of the popular Fuzz garage psych acts, these guys delivered a popular first album captivated by the smash hit "We Ain't Got Nothin' Yet" and there's plenty more alike in this groover!

LP #1 The Blues Magoos ~ Psychedelic Lollipop:

This Lp came out at the end of 1966, at a time when psychedelia was still in the process of being invented.  It was the era of Revolver, not Sgt. Pepper.  So this is not 'freak-out' 1967-style psychedelia that many people associate with that term, but an earlier, garage-rock proto-psychedelia.  Most songs are somewhat in the style of the Animals, Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, and Paul Revere and the Raiders, but two (A-4 and B-3) are more Byrds-flavored.  The obvious standout tracks are A-1 and A-3; the rest is more of a mixed bag and still pretty solid.  (Note:  In addition to what was probably the first prominent use of the word "psychedelic" on a pop LP, this album features a drug-acronym-title song (L.S.D.) -- "Love Seems Doomed" -- that beat the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by about six months, although there is nothing about the song itself to particularly suggest that this was intentional.)
