Description
One of a handful of cello rarities we have just had in, see our store page for more.
1966 Philips Dark red labels and earliest type pasted back sleeve SAL 3746 Maurice Gendron, Cellist, & Jean Francaix in the Schubert Arpeggione sonata and the three groups of Beethoven Magic flute and Handel Cello Variations, 12, 7 & 12 of them. This has the 802 805 LY number to labels and sleeve, and does not state made in UK or Holland to labels, but the sleeve is British, as is nearly always the case with Philips sold in the Uk of the 60's, whichever pressing it is. Good chance this is Holland. Anyway, main thing to say is beautiful music making to this very desirable cello rarity.
Near mint record with a near mint sleeve. Plays fully near mint, heard throughout in places to check.
When we post this to you, it will be housed in a hard card custom made new box.
