Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. The Black Plague became successful especially with world wide 60's beat and garage collectors mainly due to the album name and the fact that every track contains a strong delivery style and catchy tunes backed by a reverb guitar led small combo and the classic Terry Black voice. The album is sought after by record collectors -- original pressings sell for large amounts in collector's markets around the world.
A teen scene sensation, Canadian Terry Black had significant chart success in Canada with "Unless You Care" a top-chart hit. Black had a sound similar to some of the better British Invasion beatrock & American garage band artists, and his material was the well written works of the P.F. Sloan and Steve Barri writing team (noted for their first two Grassroots albums & early Turtles grooves). In view of the popularity of the sound he emulated and the Sloan-Barri tunes, it is something of a mystery why he had such a limited impression on the charts in the States. After a couple of years of success in Canada, Black moved to the U.S. and Arc Records, his label in Canada, issued the "Black Plague" Lp in 1966, now a "lost album" major collector's item.
