Description

Hyperions--Theme / The Truth Always Hurts--Paris Tower 102.  Great two-sided garage out of Florida, 1967.  A-side is a way-cool uptempo garage instrumental with very well-played guitar--a super cut with a great beat.  The flip is a very primitive midtempo garage punker with dominant organ and good guitar.  This cut has been comped on Gravel # 2.  Vinyl is VG -.  Lots of scuffs and scratches (none deep), but disc plays remarkably well and is a good listen--definitely a better-quality pressing.  Label has promotional stamp and writing on one side; the other side is clean.  Hats off to these guys for showing their ass and putting the instrumental on the top side--the true 60s garage punk attitude ! ! ! !  Nice early number on very collectible Florida label.
