Description
Another classic relic from my own ancient collection, no longer needed as I got rid of my deck years ago. This is a RARE ORIGINAL 1967 MONO pressing of the brilliant LOVE album, FOREVER CHANGES. Unfaded dark ELEKTRA label on thick, heavy British vinyl with a wide groove so, I'm told, it is probably better played on vintage equipment to reduce any surface noise! Record number EKL 4013 and original matrix A1/B1.The vinyl has some scuffs,marks and a few surface sratches but has not been played at all since the mid-1970s, so perhaps it's not surprising... it definitely needs a good clean but this is something I am loath to do.
The cover is in good used condition. It has a few marks and creases and some very small cracks near the spine ( can be seen on the photo ), but these do not affect the spine itself which can still be read. Corners are slightly dog-eared and the original inner is a bit stained and and foxed with age..not unlike myself !
A realistic start and no reserve for this psych/rock classic which is a rare original and shows off the great Arthur Lee at his very best. Happy Bidding !
