Description

Monster rare Still Factory Sealed-Mint-Original MONO pressing LP titled: The Zodiac Cosmic Sounds. Released in 1967 on Elektra Records. Elektra Records catalog #EKL-4009. Recorded in 1967 w/ early Moog Synths, and other Electronic Instruments as well as Sitar; considered a psych classic. Collaboration between Mort Garson and Jacques Wilson and Paul Beaver (Beaver would later go on to Beaver/Krause) and readings by Cyrus Faryar. Mort Garson and Jacques Wilson also collaborated on the highly sought after Wozard Of Iz album. Garson also recorded one of the greatest Electronic Occult records ever in Black Mass: Lucifer

Zodiac Cosmic Sounds 1967 (Elektra EKS 74009) Popular early psych-exploito astrology LP featuring compositions by Mort Garson. Apparently this LP inspired Moody Blues to include spoken passages on "Days Of Future Passed". As interest in this type of recordings increases the Zodiac LP has gained many fans over the years.

The US Mono pressing of this record is very scarce as most were released in Stereo, and to find a still sealed mint copy is almost unheard of. No cutout or Drillholes, Stock Mint. I found this at the estate sale of a old record store owner here in Detroit area along with several other fantastic old still sealed mint 60's Rock albums.
