SCARCE ... ADVANCED RELEASE PROMOTIONAL!
1967 RARE original LP in TOP shape ... one of the more obscure/hard to find '60s motorcycle soundtracks - widely collected... "Sidewalk" productions whom issued all the '60s biker LP's had a shift in allegiance from AIP productions to Crown International, and features two tracks each from the mighty Davie Allan & The Arrows and Somebody’s Chyldren, plus one from the Sunrays who were managed by Murray Wilson, father to the Beach Boys.
Also, Davy Jones and The Dolphins covered half of the ten tracks, they had been recording since at least 1962. However the well accomplished, yet unknown garage-rocker band,The Chyldren were an LA band whose small claim to fame was working with Ian Whitcomb and helping him back Mae West in 1966. The album is filled with west coast styled and crafted sunshine grooves, the style so popular in the sixties and well sought by collectors. Best potential track is ‘Mass Confusion,’ which has a social conscience.
